Vintage Reigns in 2011, TAG Heuer Watches Publicizes the Monza Chronograph Calibre 36 Re-Version

Limited to 1911 numbered items, Tag Heuer Watches introduced the Monza Calibre 36 Re-Version automatic chronograph at Basel 2011. The explanation for the identify is that in 1911 the model released the Time of Journey 12 hour Dashboard Chronograph that was specifically designed for airplanes and cars. This made it simpler to measure time within the air or whereas driving and was very fashionable amongst aviators and automotive enthusiasts. This latest timepiece seems nearly exactly like the original Heuer Monza chronograph that was launched in 1933. Tag Heuer Replica

The re-version is powered by Caliber 36 automated motion and next to the Mikrograph is the fastest watch motion around. It features a regular pair of chrono pushers located at 2 and four o'clock. The crown is smaller than the original and is done is a refined vintage look. The dial has over-sized Arabic numerals with "previous rhodium" luminescence coating on them and on the hand markers. Chemin de fer indexes are used in the counters. Defending the white dial is a curved, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. MONZA lettering is at 12 o'clock. Blue hour, minute, second and indicator fingers contrast beautifully against the white dial.

The case again is completed in exhibition styling to allow viewing of the motion and is protected with a sapphire crystal. It is screwed down keeping the whole lot water tight. There's an inscription of each particular person number/1911 displaying it is a numbered limited edition in the collection.

The 2 sub-dials measure small seconds at the 9 o'clock place and chronograph minute sub-counters at three o'clock. The dial has black minuterie with 05 to 60 minute indication and the date window will be discovered at four:30.

The case and bezel are made out of stainless-steel and have a mix of tremendous-brushed and polished finishes. The shape of the case is a cushion design and is 38mm in diameter giving it a smaller profile than most chronographs on the market. It is water-proof against 100 meters and is completed with a brown leather-based strap with the Heuer emblem on the inside side. The strap is secured with a folding buckle with safety push buttons and the Heuer logo. It is a very appealing classic watch.

System One racing comes into the story of the original design of the watch when in 1975 Niki Lauda received the world championship for Ferrari. Heuer was official timekeeper and to honor this win, Jack Heuer reworked an existing 1930's model right into a special limited version sequence he called the Monza. This re-version is part of the classic-inspired Traditional Heuer Collection; the Monza remains a favorite amongst collectors.
